Who we are
Hello! I'm Vinícius Zago, owner of ZAGO DESIGN.
I'll tell you a little about my professional career, how ZAGO DESIGN came about, why we're in the market, and what our goals are with our clients and partners.
If you're not yet our partner, I hope this brief story motivates you to get to know us and start a successful partnership!
A little history...
It all started when I was just 15 years old.
Since I was very young, drawing has always been a passion, and it was precisely this that opened the doors to my first contact with the professional world.
I received an invitation to learn—and, in a sense, work—at an advertising agency located in Mooca, São Paulo. It was a transformative experience, surrounded by extremely talented professionals, some with experience at major publishing houses and broadcasters like TV Cultura and renowned companies from the ABC Paulista region, where I was born and spent most of my life, such as Volkswagen, Ford, and General Motors.
In this creative and demanding environment, I had my first contact with technical drawing.
At 15, through this advertising agency, I had the privilege of helping to develop owner's manuals for Ford do Brasil vehicles, including models such as the Ford Ka, Ranger, Courier, and Cargo trucks. A huge responsibility for someone so young—and the beginning of a career that would only grow with time.
At 17, I joined Pirelli Pneus in Santo André, São Paulo, where I immersed myself in the development of tire manufacturing machinery. Three years of intense learning paved the way for a new challenge: joining the Pirelli Cabos team (now Prysmian Group), working on the development of subsea umbilical cable accessories and equipment.
This was a crucial phase in my career. The company was still structuring its operations around this product line, which gave me the opportunity to actively participate in the development of this process. In addition to product development, I was involved in several areas: supplier approval, preparation of quality documents and inspection plans, qualification tests in laboratories and universities, assembly tests (fit tests), shipments, and monitoring umbilical installation campaigns on launch vessels and offshore platforms.
These experiences shaped not only my technical skills, but also my business vision, professionalism, and commitment.
It was with this foundation that ZAGO DESIGN was born—a company built on real-world experience, gained on the factory floor, in laboratories, in meetings with engineers, and in the challenges of the field. Today, we offer comprehensive solutions ranging from technical design to equipment inspection and supplier due diligence.
We have a hand-selected team: experienced, certified professionals who, above all, are committed to excellence.
Every project we deliver carries a bit of this story.
And it is with this same care and dedication that we continue to write the next chapters.
